Cringiest Motivational LinkedIn Posts of All Time

Post by CareerCynic »

Hey everyone,

Welcome to the Corporate Humor and Memes subforum! This is the place where we can all unwind a bit and share some of the most cringe-worthy, over-the-top, or downright absurd advice we've seen from LinkedIn influencers. Let’s face it, LinkedIn is a goldmine for this kind of content—those posts that make you do a double-take and wonder if the person who wrote it actually believes what they’re saying.

To kick things off, here’s a gem I stumbled across today:

Image

"You weren't fired, you were promoted to entrepreneur."😬

Yep, someone actually told their client who got fired that they should think of it as a "promotion" to entrepreneurship. I mean, come on—getting fired is already tough enough, and now we have people trying to sprinkle some motivational fairy dust on it by calling it a "promotion." Because, obviously, losing your job is just the universe telling you it’s time to become the next Elon Musk, right? 🙄

This post screams hypocrite and shallow to me. It’s like these so-called "influencers and coaches" are trying so hard to put a positive spin on things that they forget how real life actually works. Not everyone can just bounce back and "focus on growing their business full-time" after getting canned. I honestly laughed for about five minutes at how cheesy and unbelievable this advice is. It’s as if they’re completely disconnected from reality! Sometimes I think that these corporate "influencers" should just read the room before dropping their cheesy one-liners.

But hey, maybe it’s just me. Anyone else out there cringe at these kinds of posts? Let’s get the ball rolling—share your favorite cringe-worthy LinkedIn influencer moments. The more absurd, the better! Let’s have some fun with this.

As usual, when sharing cringe LinkedIn posts, please remember to blur the photo and name of the poster. We don’t want to draw heat for our forum or dox anyone. This is a place to call out this kind of stupid corporate bullshit for what it really is, not to expose or harass individuals. Let’s keep it fun and focused on the content, not the people behind it.

Best,
